Your subscription

We use your email and selected interests to provide the newsletter you request. Confirmation is required before activating a subscription or changing preferences. Subscriber information is stored in Cloudflare D1 and email is delivered through Resend. We do not sell subscriber information.

Confirmation and unsubscribe

Confirmation links expire after 48 hours. Each newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes the active subscription and stored preferences; a hashed suppression record is retained to prevent repeat delivery.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits, PDF downloads, podcast starts and completions, contact clicks and confirmed newsletter subscriptions. Analytics cookies are not loaded until you choose Allow analytics. Advertising features are disabled. We do not send your email address, subscription token, form contents or URL query strings to Google Analytics. A pseudonymous Analytics identifier and the original landing page and referral category may accompany a subscription request to measure confirmation. Pending identifiers expire with the confirmation request after 48 hours and are removed when confirmation is processed. Google Analytics processes the event data; reports can undercount when visitors decline analytics or block tracking.

Change your choice

Use Privacy choices in the footer to allow or decline analytics. Declining prevents subsequent browser tracking and removes Analytics cookies from this website. You can also decline confirmation measurement on the confirmation page. Analytics cookies are set for up to 90 days; session attribution is retained for up to 30 minutes of inactivity. Your access to the journal and newsletter does not depend on analytics consent.

Contact enquiries and external resources

Messages to contactus@forecourtnews.com are forwarded by Spaceship to the editorial contact’s Gmail inbox so we can respond. Do not send confidential site records unless arrangements have been agreed. Website fonts and article thumbnails are served from our hosting. Links to third-party sources take you to websites with their own privacy practices.
